14th Sep’ 08: On the occasion of Paryushan Parva, Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Raipur organized “Sneh Milan” i.e. a celebration programme aimed at “swadharmi vatsalya” - a kind of social gathering at Amolak Bhavan, Raipur.
The programme started with the blessings of Muni Shri Prashant Kumarji. In his address, he emphasized the use of word “Khamatkhamna” in place of “Kshamayachna”. The word “kshmayachana” stands for asking forgiveness from the other which developed the feeling of inferiority complex in the person asking for forgiveness and a sense of ego in the person asked to forgive. Whereas “Khamatkhamna” means that please forgive me for all the mistakes I have made and I am forgiving you for all the mistakes you might have made. It brings both the person at a common platform and creates a sense of equality between both of them. He also mentioned that such celebrations bring the required communal harmony among the society and help in developing the organizations.
The programme followed by “swadharmi vatsalya” which was organized at Surana Bhawan, Raipur.
A state level musical competition in the name of “Anuvart Naitik Geet Gayan Pratiyogita” had also been organized. Representative groups from across the state presented songs on the theme of “Anuvart”. The programme was a great success.
