Anuvrat can be a solution key to the Current World’s Crisis

Acharya Mahapragya

Jaipur November 7, 2008

Three days 59th National Conference of Anuvrat Samiti is started under the auspicious guidance of Anuvrat Anushshata Acharya Mahapragya at Anuvibha. In the inaugural session of the conference, Acharya Mahapragya said that Sanyam and desire are two opposite direction. In this situation, that person is considered to be smartest who moves as per the beats of time. There was an old saying “that person is like a dead who has the burden of loans”. But now concepts is seems to be reversed - took the loans from banks and enjoy the life. This credit financing has thrown the world to the mouth of volcano. It is very difficult to talk about the limitation in this open race of power and money. But when we look into the rising tides of problems and troubles, then I found the Anuvrat as a boat to cross this tide safely. Anuvrat can be a key solution to the Current World’s Crisis.

He further continued that it is nice to discuss about anuvrat but it should be united with our behaviour also. Draw some boundaries to desire, put limitation over personal consumption pattern is the behaviour of sanyam. This is also the principle of ecology. There are many people in the world who are living simple life despite of uncountable wealth. Current situation demands the anuvrat to be presented as per the changing economical, social and ecological conditions. He said those who have understood the core of sanyam, have really squeezed the meaning from life. Others who are unaware of this concept can’t live peacefully nor allow other to live calmly.

Sadhvi pramukha Shri Kanakprabha said that man is thirsty and want to quench it. He doesn’t bother whether water is from well or pot or any other bowl. Similarly every man wish the peaceful life, wishes the light house in his life which can illuminate the right path. Anuvrat is nothing but the guiding light house that spreads the rays of morality and peace to human being. Acharya Tulsi initiated this Anuvrat movement with the vision of making it movement of people, for all caste, for all regions. Lots of people have transformed their life adopting Anuvrat without converting their basic religion. If the flame of morality continues to blow in the hearts of a common man, then it is the biggest achievement for Anuvrat.
