Conference

2nd International Dialogue on Economics of Non-violence

Inaugural Funtion

1.11.2007, 11:00

A detailed 3 parts report of the conference is available by Dr. Ashok Bafna [1].

At Berlin airport I had to divorce from the nice & stable tripod for the brand-new HD video camera. Security estimated it as a dangerous instrument for the safety of the flight and it had to be transported as extra luggage separately from me. It did not arrive in Delhi in time with me. After some phone calls from Delhi and at last from Udaipur helpfully done by the travel agency at the bhavan... it finally arrived 3 days later. It was brought by a courier who travelled by bus from Delhi to Udaipur and arrived there at 22:30, which alarmed us to take a car and to drive down to the city where we looked out for the courier at a large central place, checking all restaurants & public places and finally met him and received the tripod, which was in best condition.

Equipped with a substitute, a light version of a tripod organized by the above mentioned travel agent, a friendly cool sadakh, we entered the bhavan and catched seat near the stage.

Function started with Namokar Mantra sung by Yuvacharya

and devotional song performed by Sadhvis.
