The lamp lighted in the lives of the masses through a four month course of a spiritual environment, elucidation, training and experiment must remain ignited forever. Ignite yourself. This can be an extinguished achievement of the four month sojourner with the learned. This was expressed by Sadhvi Kanakshriji on the conclusion of Chaturmas at the Mangal Bhavna Programme organized by the Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata at Mahasabha Samawsaran on 1st November, 2009.

Sadhvishri appreciated the labour and hard work put in responsibly for the successful programmes in Chaturmas by the Terapanthi Sabha members. She inspired the devotees of Mahasabha, Teyup, Mahila Mandal Kolkata and other Sabhas of Greater Kolkata on continuous study of the religious intercession, modesty, non obstinacy and discourses of teachings of the Tirthankara’s and wished them all stable astha.

Sadhvi Madhulataji presented a glance of the events of the 4 months of Chaturmas and said that in the guidance of Sadhvishri we get the inspiration to think new and do something new. Shri Binod Kumar Choraria, General Secretary of Mahasabha; Shri Dilip Marothi, president of Teyup; Smt. Jatan Bengani, President of Mahila Mandal, Kolkata; Shri Mahalchand Bhansali, ex-president of Kolkata Sabha and Shri Labhchand Surana expressed their valuable thoughts. Mahila Mandal members sang a chorus song in the expression of emotions. Compeering was done by Shri Bhanwarlal Singhi. Shri Narendra Kumar Manot, secretary expressed his gratitude towards all who have played their direct or indirect role in the success of the Chaturmas.

Sadhvishriji said that in rainy season each and every part of the nature get circulation of energy and the fertility and power beneath the earth gets liveliness, similarly the time and period of chaturmas plays important role in sowing the seeds of culture, helping them grow and awakening the spiritual energy of a person and the society as well. Saints stay at one place during these months of chaturmas and their preaching help encourage the spiritual awakening in the lay followers.

Spirit of Prosperity

Devotees, on this event raised a spirit of prosperity and said that may you remain healthy always and continue religious resplendence and be the cause for welfare of the masses.

Release of the CD

Sadhvishri Kanakshriji released the Part - II of the Vitrang Vandana CD prepared by Shri Jain Swetamber Mitra Mandal, Kolkata on Sunday morning. Lalit Borad and Lalit Nawlakha have lent their voices for the songs in the CD. Sadhvishriji said it is an event of mutual friendship and an event of ignition of spiritual consciousness.

Second League of the Foundation Day of Jain Karyavahini

The second league of the Foundation Day of the Jain Karyavahini was celebrated eventfully on Sunday. Sadhvishri Kanakshriji said that the organization has completed 18 years and has achieved its adolescence. It needs to be moved forward with more enthusiasm so that it can achieve its objectives. Members should come forward and contribute towards personal, social, union and national development.
