Maestro Kummar Chatterjee, spiritual singer par excellence, has enthralled audiences worldwide for over two decades with his numerous renditions of Bhajans and Ghazals in various Indian languages. His music is a confluence of his devotion to the almighty, his extensive classical training and his calm melodious voice, that leaves his audiences with a memorable experience every time.
Audiences at the Parliament of World Religions Conference 2009 in Australia, and those at the Rubin Museum of Art in NY, have had the singular privilege of experiencing Kummar's brilliant music first hand, and he is scheduled to perform at the United Nations later this week.
Kummar is especially well known amongst the Jain Community through his brilliant performances of Jain Bhajans at various Jaina Conventions, and his regular appearances at various Jain Centers. Some of his well-known Jain CDs include Navkar Mantra, Uvasaggaharam and Logas.
