Samani Sanmati Pragya | Samani Shukla Pragya |
As you know, Jain Vishwa Bharati - New Jersey (JVB NJ) is a non-profit community organization with a mission to propagate the message of Ahimsa (non-violence). The organization, currently under the spiritual guidance of Jain Nuns - Samani Sanmati Pragya and Samani Shukla Pragya (disciples of Acharya Mahashraman) - has been assiduously working towards educating the community in the Jain principle of Ahimsa, and inspiring it to harness the power of Ahimsa towards a fulfilling and harmonious life.
JVB NJ is organizing a community event to celebrate the work of our Acharyas, who drew from Lord Mahavir’s Ahimsa and interpreted it for the common masses. They became ‘The Path of Ahimsa’. A legend among these legends was Acharya Mahapragya. He was an ardent researcher, a great scholar, philosopher and a prolific writer. He initiated a social movement to stimulate a positive Ahimsic change in our diverse modern society. The task of spreading this movement is now in the hands of his successor, Acharya Mahashraman. JVB NJ solicits your gracious presence with your family and friends at
