I am grateful to Dr. Karan Singhji, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University for taking the trouble of writing an enlightening ‘FOREWORD’ for this book. I am also grateful to Smt. Maneka Gandhi, former Union Minister, Government of India and Chairperson of People for Animals for sparing her valuable time to have gone through the manuscript of the book and sent her valuable brief coments. Mr. Edward Goldsmith, Editor of the prestigious journal ‘The Ecologist”, U.K. took pains to read the manuscript and send his comments in spite of his illness. I thank him a lot.
