Teachers’ National Conference and YJA Convention Support
Jaina Teachers’ National Conference 2012 - Los Angeles
Dates: Friday May 25, 2012 to Monday May 28, 2012
The JAINA Teachers National Conference 2012 is just around the comer-May 25-28, 2012. We will have about 60 teachers attending conference. Many major centers have sponsored their teachers to attend the conference.
However we would like to make an urgent request to those Jain centers who have not sponsored any teachers to this conference that there is still time to do so. This will be the best investment your center could make for the education of our children.
Along with your seasoned veteran teachers we would like to have the younger generation of teachers / interns to attend so that we can move forward with the times & learn from them while sharing our own experience. Your coordinators will be hearing form the conference organizers as well to further encourage them to attend. We are hoping for your cooperation & active participation in guaranteeing the success of this conference.

YJA Convention 2012
YJA Executive Committee requested the JAINA Education Committee to raise funds to support their desire to distribute the following book to all YJA convention attendees.

Education Committee's Commitment to YJA
JAINA Education committee has made the commitment to YJA Exec Committee to raise the funds and deliver the books at the convention site.
In addition to the distribution of the above book, Education committee provides the following books to the attendees of YJA convention free of charge:
· English Pratikraman Book (JES 931)
· Jainism (JES 901)
· Essence of World Religions (JES 911)
· Book of Compassion (JES 921)
The softcopies of the above four books can be downloaded from the JaineLibrary website www.jaineLibrary.org.
Approximate cost will be $3000.00 of the above four books.
In all, Education committee has committed to YJA to raise about $8000 to support them with the above mentioned books.
