The Pilgrimage Committee of JAINA is pleased to announce 2013 JAINA Yatra to Shri Shikharji and nearby Teerths.
The Yatra will start from New Delhi on January 18, 2013 and will end in Kolkata on February 3. Yatra will begin with visit to Dadawadi in New Delhi and plan to visit Hastinapur, Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Champapuri, Rajgir, Veerayatan, Pawapuri, Guniyaji, Bodhi Gaya, Lachhwad, Samet Shikhar, Rujuvalika and Calcutta. We will be visiting more than 80 Kalyanak Bhomis of our Teerthankars during our Yatra.
The detailed itinerary is still being worked out. The 16 nights and 17-day package will cost $1425.00 per person including JAINA registration and $100.00 earmarked for Yatra fund for sangh donations to the places we visit. The charges are for double occupancy accommodations and include all lodging, boarding and entrance fees for museums or other attractions. Accommodations will be in three star hotels as far as possible but will have some Dharmasala stays too.
All yatris are responsible to make their own arrangements for reaching New Delhi or to their home from Kolkata after the yatra ends. JAINA Yatra is open to your friends or relatives in India if you so desire. Yatra will be conducted by Patani tours of Mumbai who has conducted all previous JAINA Yatras. Our planned capacity is 64 Yatris. Registration will be on first come first served basis.
