Symbol of emotional integration Digambar Jain Atishaya Keshtra Shri Mahaveerji is a holy place of pilgrimage in Rajasthan (India). It is dedicated to Lord Mahaveer, the 24th Tirthankar. Shri Mahaveerji draws people of all classes, creeds and communities from all over the world. Thousands of pilgrims throng here everyday to have Darshan of Lord Mahavir and offer prayers for attaining peace and solace. The devotees who come here experience eternal happiness and self contentment, which is unique in itself.

The coral-coloured icon of Lord Mahaveer was found by a cobbler-cultivator, some four hundred years ago. When the cow started returning bereft of its milk, the cobbler became inquisitive and followed the cow to the mound. It was noticed that the cow belonging to the cobbler used to go upon a sand dune besides the river Ghambhir, and ooze out its milk. Seeing this miracle, he dug up the mound and unearthed the icon of Lord Mahaveer in crossed legged ("Padmasan") posture.

A native of Baswa Amar Chand Bilala erected the temple to enshrine the Idol. The three milky white Shikhar (Domes and Towers) of this massive temple are surmounted by the golden " Kalash " and fly the flags of Jainism, symbolic of Samyak Darshan(right faith), Samyak Gyan (right knowledge) and Samyak Charitra (right conduct). The Idol of Lord Mahaveer is enshrined on the main and rear "Vedi" of the temple as the Mool Nayak or Principal Deity.

The mound where about one thousand year old coral-colored stone idol of Lord Mahaveer was unearth is marked by an artistic Chhatri (kioks) enshrining the Charan (foot print) of the Lord surrounded by a beautiful garden Mahaveer Udhyan At the spot of discovery now stands an artistic Chhatri enshrining the footprints of the Lord. Around this Chhatri a beautiful garden has been developed in which stands 29 feet high Mahaveer Stupa erected on the occasion 2500th Death Anniversary of Lord Mahaveer.
