Saurabh Dalal has been involved in the Vegetarian Society of DC (VSDC) in various capacities since 1991, serving as President since 1996.
Among his passions are outreach, education, and greater advocacy of veganism and Ahimsa (non-violence) as compelling solutions to many global problems.
He volunteers/supports numerous other like-minded nonprofit groups and is also Deputy Chair of the International Vegetarian Union [IVU].

A follower of the Jain religion, he has been active in the Jain community on the local and international levels. He is a lifelong vegetarian and vegan since 1991.
Saurabh works as a Program Manager in information technology and holds graduate degrees in Physics and Engineering.
