At present she is working toward her Ph.D. at the University of Munich, where she mainly teaches Sanskrit as a teaching assistant. Her main research interests and publications (http://www.manyaverlag.de/authors.html) concern Indian religion and philosophy, especially Śaivism and Jainism, as well as Indian art history. Together with Robert Zydenbos she founded the publishing house Manya Verlag (http://www.manyaverlag.de), which aims at bringing out academically trustworthy publications on Indian culture, religion and literature that are accessible not only to scholars, but also to a general public.
