I am sharing with you some highlights of the just completed ISSJS 2014 program.
This year, during the months of June, July and one week in August, ISSJS offered 3 standalone programs in India to 80 participants from USA, Canada, Mexico and Zimbabwe.
The 3 programs were;
4 Week (4W) program; Intro to Jainism mainly to Under-graduate students
6 Week (6W) program, Advance Course in Jainism to College/University Faculty and Graduate Students
3 Week 3W) program, Teachers for Ahimsa Program to teachers from K 1 to K12
This year was the 10th anniversary of ISSJS programs and more than 450 faculty, undergraduate, Graduate students and teachers from many countries (mostly from USA and Canada) have attended these programs so far. The # of participants (80) this year was the largest; a record.
