Antaḥśalyamaraṇa

A type of Maraṇa (death);

death of a person who dies without performing Ālocanā (confession) for the transgressions of the vows, which are like the antahśalya (internal Śalya (a weapon in the interior which is rankling inside)) or psychical injury.

śalyamiva śalyamaparādhapadaṃ yasya so'ntaḥśalyo lajjā'bhimānādibhiranālocitātīcārastasya maraṇaṃ antaḥśalyamaraṇam.
