A type of Maraṇa (death);
the death attained through any of the three kinds of fasting unto death, viz.,
Bhaktapratyākhyāna, Iṅgiṇīmaraṇa and Prāyopagamana. abhyudyatamaraṇa punastrividham-pādapopagamanam iṃginīmaraṇaṃ... bhaktapratyākhyānam.
