That Naya (non-absolutistic standpoint), in which the sense or purport of the word is made dominant, while the verbality is made subsidiary, e.g., Naigama (pantoscopic) Naya, Saṃgraha (synthetic) Naya, Vyavahāra (analytic) Naya (1) and Ṛjusūtra (straight and direct) Naya.
