A type of Darśanāvaraṇīya (intuition-veiling) Karma,
the Udaya (rise) of which is responsible for veiling Avadhidarśana (the direct (super-sensory) apprehension taking cognizance of the generic attribute of the corporeal substances).
sāmānyārthagrahaṇamavadhidarśanaṃ tasyāvaraṇamavadhidarśanāvaraṇaṃ.
