That ascetic (Muni), who either brings himself the necessary utilities like food, water, medicine etc. for the fellow ascetics who are child, old, sick (or ill), as a gesture of help, or asks others to do so, renders himself his services to them or asks others to do so, and also who is conversant with all such acts of helping.
bālā sahu vuḍḍhesuṃ saṃta tavakilaṃtaveyaṇātaṃke.
sejja-nisejjovadhi-pāṇamasaṇa-bhesajjiwaggahite...
dāna-davāvana-kārāvanesu karane ya katama- nunnāe.
