The eighth out of the fourteen Pūrvas (canonical works of earlier lore),
which propounds the nature (theory) of Karma.
aṭṭhamaṃ kammappavādam, ṇāṇāvaraṇāiyaṃ aṭṭhavidaṃ kammaṃ pagati-ṭṭhiti-aṇubhāga-ppadesādiehim bhedehiṃ aṇṇehi ya uttamttabhedehiṃ jattha vaṇṇijjati taṃ kammappavādamṃ.
