Published: 24.10.2016

A type of Aticāra (partial transgression) of Saṃlekhanā (scraping penance unto death, i.e., emaciation of passions by a graded course of penance (fasting));

it consists in longing for the sensual pleasures, e.g., "may I get the sensual pleasures related with the humans or the gods (in the next life, as a reward of my penance)."

kāmabhogāśaṃsāprayogo yadi me mānuṣyakāḥ kāmabhogā divyā vā sampadyante tadā sādhu iti vikalparūpaḥ.
