Kupyapramāṇātikrama

An Aticāra (partial transgression) of the Icchāparimāṇa Vrata (the fifth vow of the lay follower); to transgress the limit of the accumulation of the household (metalic) utensils such as plates, bowls etc., either inadvertently or due to over- greediness.

tīvralobhābhinivesādatirekāḥ pramāṇātikramāḥ.

'kuviyapamāṇāikkame' tti kupyaṃ- gṛhopaskaraḥ sthālakaccolakādi, ayaṃ cāticāro'nābhogādinā.
