Parīṣaha qua hunger- A kind of Parīṣaha (hardship);

the ascetic (Muni) should endure equanimous (i.e., without any feeling of frustration) the pangs of hunger (when aliment is not available).

digiṃchāparigae dehe tavassī bhikkhu thāmavaṃ.

na chiṃde na chiṃdāvae na pae na payāvae... kālīpavvaṃgasaṃkāse kise dhamaṇisaṃtae. māyaṇṇe asaṇapāṇassa adīṇamaṇaso care...
