1. Quasi-sense-Mind;
that (organ) whose function is to analyze and reflect over the objects already apprehended by the sense-organs; hence, it is called 'quasi- -sense' i.e., slightly like sense (but not sense). (Mind is not a sense-organ because it has no independent jurisdiction over the external percievable objects, and this lack of independent capacity disqualifies it from attaining the status which the sense-organ has).
