Nyāsāpahāra

An Aticāra (partial transgression) of the vow of Sthūla Mṛṣāvāda Viramaṇa (abstinence from gross falsehood, the second vow of the lay follower);

to state less the amount of money etc. entrusted to one's care, due to forgetfulness. hiraṇyādinikṣepe'lpasaṃkhyāmijñānavacanaṃ nyāsāpahāraḥ.
