A type of Kriyā (urge);

Torture urge- Propensity or activity of tortu-ring others (in the form of beating etc.).

duḥkhotpattitantratvāt pāritāpanikī kriyā.

paritāpanaṃ-tāḍanādidnḥkhaviśeṣalakṣaṇaṃ tena nirvṛttā pāritāpanikī.
