Kovilpatti
Kovilpatti, also known as Covilpatti, is a special grade municipality, waiting to be upgraded as a Municipal Corporation, in Thoothukudi District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu (Pincode - 628501,628502,628503). It is the second largest town in Thoothukudi District. As of 2016, the population of town was 250,000. The town was around 49 km2. The town is famous for the Shri Shenbagavalli Poovananathar Kovil, where in the importance goes to Goddess Shenbagavalli over her counterpart, as in Madurai.
