JAIN VISHVA BHARATI
Following the successful completion of the Basic Prakrit Course in the summer of 2004, it has been decided to run a Prakrit Summer Course in 2005 with emphasis on speaking Prakrit sentences, learning its meanings, and analysing grammatical forms.
Jain Pratikramana Texts will be used to teach spoken Prakrit and this will have the dual advantage of learning the language as well as understanding the meaning of the Pratikramana Texts.
The classes will be taught by Pujya Samaniji Punya Pragyaji.
She has a Masters degree in Prakrit Language and Literature from Jain Vishwa Bharati Institute University, Ladnun, India.
She will explain all the meanings in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
