Dear Readers, once a question was asked in a gathering, what is sweet but not edible?? The winning answer was “History” Yes. Delving in to history is really a very sweet and exciting. When the history is well documented, the experience becomes so much more enjoyable and realistic. Terapanth has many historical documents - starting from Maryada Patra - the very basis of Maryada Mahotsav, written by Acharya Bhiksu. One such recent document, which has great historical value is a letter written by Ganadhipati Tulsi to his able successor Acharya Shri Mahaprajnaji on 8th February 1997. At that time Ganadhipati Tulsi was in Ladnun and Acharyashri Mahaprajnaji was in Chadwas (for Maryada Mahotsav).
After completion of speech by Sadhvipramukhashriji, Shri Surendraji Choradia and Shri Pannalalji Baid, both natives of Chadwas presented a copy of that very historical letter to Acharyashri and Yuvacharyashri later on read the text of that letter. I wish to share the contents of that historical letter in the same language (Hindi) with our Hindi speaking readers. I will give English translation in my next post for our Non-Hindi speaking brothers and sisters.
