Workshop on Stress Management, Swami Dharmanandji with Nirmalaji and Karuna
The Stress Management Workshop on this sunny Saturday in Berlin was attended by eight people interested in guidance how to counteract any of the adverse effects of stress. They were interested in learning about a non-violent approach to a violent harm, seriously affecting health and well being.
Editor Karuna Jain introduced Swami Dharmanandji and Nirmalaji to the audience. In the beginning, Swami Dharmanandji gave a short overview on his background, and then went in medias res. Health injuring stress starts when we do not breathe properly. Therefore, it is important to learn the technique of deep long breathing to stay calm and balanced in the middle of chaos and confusion. Awareness on the relation between proper breathing and positive thinking should be created, which helps us to withstand the stress of contemporary life.
