Sagar is a London based economist with an interest in Jainism and veganism. He was a student on the International Summer School for Jain Studies in 2013. He holds degrees in economics from Oxford University and the London School of Economics, and has worked for Frontier Economics, the Bank of England, the New Economics Foundation, ICICI Bank India and Friends of the Earth.
Sagar is a founding member of Jain Vegans, founder and former Chair of the London School of Economics Vegetarian Society, and former president of the Oxford University Jain Society.
