Attachment And Envy Enforces The Man For Crime - Yuvacharya Mahashraman

A monk goes to many places, meet different kind of people, have different foods availability but he should not get attached to them, don’t develop the feeling of likeness towards them. If anything is not found suitable to him then he should not bring the negative feelings rather he develops the feeling of satisfaction with neutrality. He can encounter with people who make fun, disturb or irritate him or with adverse situation while traveling. In such circumstances, the monk is required to practice the tolerance. The tolerance practice is the main course of any monk’s religion. This also breaks the bonded karma.

Attachment and envy are two basic emotions which get activated from the kashaya. We can trace them as anger, ego, greediness and materialism. This led the man towards the path of crime and wrong conduct. Hence both monk and household should practice to keep themselves away from the emotions of attachment and envy.
