►Acharya Mahapragya: We have learned the art of transformation through experiments

Jaipur, 31 October, 2008

“The success we are getting today is basically due to the practical experiments of transformations. Success has three basic pillars- knowledge, thinking & research and practical application. Acharya Tulsi was the man of experiments. His brain was ascetic of finding new experiments. From him, we have learned the art of transformation.” These views are expressed by Acharya Mahapragya on the occasion of Acharya Tulsi Anekant Honour- 2008 ceremony held at Anuvibha.

Acharya Tulsi Anekant Honour is given every year to a scholar who has exceptional contributed in the field of Jain Philosophy. This honor is given by Jain Vishwa Bharti and sponsored by M.G. Saravagi Foundation- Kolkatta.

For year 2008, this honor has been given to Gujarati’s eminent Journalist –cum- writer and proficient of Jain philosophy Padam Shri Kumar Pal Desai.

Appreciating his work, Acharya Mahapragya said that work done by Shri Kumarpal in Jain philosophy is really an extraordinary one. He has enriched the tradition of Gujarati intellectuals of Acharya Hemchandra, Pandit Sukhlal, Dalsukh bhai Malvania, Pandit Bechardas etc.

For Shri Govindlal Saravagi, Acharya Mahapragya said he is living the life of a monk in house. He has continuing the work ahead which was started by his father Mahadev Bhai & elder Brother Ramkumar ji.

Accepting the honor, Padam Shri Kumarpal Desai in his address said that when truth has wished to come on earth, he came in form of of Mahatama Gandhi. Similarly beauty took the shape of Rabindra Nath, Yog incarnated in form of Maharishi Arvind and the Social revolution figure out itself in the form of Acharya Tulsi. Following this deepen tradition, light of consciousness which shows the right path of life is today lightening the world in form of Acharya Mahapragya. Today Acharya Mahapragya has shown the practical application of Mahavira’s Non-violence to the world He also gave his thankfulness towards M.G Saravagai Foundation.
