Description:

Parshvanatha (23rd Tirthankara) is shown in meditation posture (dhyana mudra) enthroned on the top of a mountain. He is adorned with jewellery and a seven-headed serpent canopy, symbolising naga-king Dharana. The white crescent between the mountain peaks and the Jina's throne emblematises the Tirthankara's status of salvation; Parshvanatha is framed by trees and lotus buds.
