Sri Vatsa, Śrīvatsa, श्रीवत्स

Eternal, endless knot

In terms of Jaina iconography a Śrīvatsa describes usually the chest-mark of a Tirtankara.

It is one of the ashtamangala. It can look somewhat like a fleur-de-lis, an endless knot, a flower or diamond shaped symbol.
