ABTMM, Akhil Bharatiya Mahila Mandal, All India Terapanth Women Wing, Mahila Mandal, Terapanth Mahila Mandal

Terapanth's women's organisation of about 37,000 members, founded in 1966, realising an inspiration of Acharya Tulsi. His vision based on transmitting the spiritual action of the fourfold Jain community, monks, nuns, male, and female lay followers, into collective social action with contributions from every member according to their facilities, money or labour.

To involve the female lay followers into spiritually motivated social action, was the first step for many Indian women in that time, not only to participate in society, but to play an active role by helping others to solve their problems.

Actually there are 74 centres with 334 branches all over India and abroad. Terapanth Mahila Mandal gives important support to the Jain Vishva Bharati centres, and has developed into a powerful field of actuation for women from all walks of life.
