The annual pooja mahotsava of the ancient Digambar Jain temple at Nittur the holy abode of Goddess Jwalamalini Devi has been organised on March 4, 2012 under the guidance of His Holiness Swasti Sri Dhavalakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Arihantagiri Jain Mutt. On the occasion special pooja to the Tirthankara idols, Shodashopachara pooja to Goddess Jwalamalini and religious gathering have been organised. Sri S.Jithendra Kumar, president of Karnataka Jain Association will preside over the function. Sri Nagendra Jain of Sri Charukeerthi Vedike, Bangalore will be the chief guest.
