Sri Jinaya namah
13-5-2013 was indeed a sacred holy day for the Jains all over the world that day was Akshya Thruthi day.On Akshya Thruthi, in the hoary past, Prince Sreyankumara gave first Ahar Dhan to the Ascetic Rishabha Maha muni. In all the Jaina villages this event was recollected and celebrated. In the very famous Aarpakkam Sri Adhibhattaraka Swami (Rishabha Tirthankara) jinalayam this was celebrated.
