The lecture is by Professor Dr Melanie Joy from the University of Massachusetts. She will talk about a new concept she has developed 'Carnism' Changing the way we think about eating animals.
She has been lecturing extensively on this subject both in the US and Europe including the UK. She has also appeared on BBC Radio and been interviewed by the major dailies. More information on Dr Joy at http://www.carnism.org/2012-05-15-16-41-47/27-bios/37-about-dr-melanie-joy.
