Namaste and Happy Diwali.

It is a unique festival of light which is celebrated this year on Sunday 3rd November. At the beautiful BAPS Hindu temple in Neasden, London, there will be 1250 different dishes of beautiful vegetarian foods offered to the Gods on Monday 4th November from 2pm - and this event is free and open to the public. This year, I have been invited by the Prime Minister to celebrate Diwali at Downing Street - I will give you a report of this experience next time.

Recently, I was Chief Guest at a unique event to celebrate the graduation of 6o students in BharataNatyam, taught by Shramathi Susanna of Natya East. I had a wonderful experience, and wrote a blog about it which you can read here.

The famous global animal rights campaigner, Ingrid Newkirk, head of PETA is coming to London and there is a public lecture on Sunday 17th November - full details are here.
