Botanical Name: Anogeissus latifolia
Family: Combretaceae

Deciduous trees, 15-20 meters tall, bark smooth, white-grey. Leaves obtuse and silky. Flowering and fruiting season is March to July. The gum obtained from tree is used as medicine. Fresh bark is crushed with water to prepare a paste and paste is applied on sores to heal.
