Progress in Meditation Leads to Change in Habits:Our ultimate aim is to change our attitude.Just sitting in the meditation posture and focusing on the body and the breath will not bring about the change in habits.
To change habits, first of all one needs to resolve to change thinking and then’ visualize the resolution with great concentration. As the concentration intensifies the degree of bad habits reduces. The depth in meditation and transformation in habits both will go hand in hand. It can be said for sure that to change a habit, meditation of thoughts (shrut meditation or vichar meditation) is very significant.
