Pranam!

In celebration of Rishi's completion of 📿 Updhan Tap Moksh Mal 📿, we would like to invite you to 🪷 Charitra Upkaran Vandanavali - A Sparsh of Saiyam 🪷. This program will be held on Saturday, May 20 from 3-5PM. It will be followed by Swamivatsalya. Some highlights of the event:

1. Samvedana (explanation) of each of the Upkaran
2. Saiyyam Bhakti
3. Darshan of each Upkaran
4. Presentation about Updhan Tap
5. Hanging of Moksh Mal on Prabhu's Dwar

As these Upkaran would be less familiar to youth who have not grown up around Sadhus/Sadhvis, we highly encourage you to bring your children and grandchildren. If we have enough children RSVP for the event, we will make sure Samvedana is given in majority English.

Please give us the Labh of your presence and celebrate with us!
RSVP through the following form: https://forms.gle/pPAZa7ak1bYHxBMY7

Additionally, we want to give you the opportunity to give the entire Sangh Darshan of each Upkaran. If you would like to take that opportunity, use the sign up form below. The "cost" of this Labh is the corresponding Niyam (small vow). If you have questions about the Niyams, feel free to reach out, we can be flexible!

Alert PARAM Paryushan Classes

Pranam!

We are lucky to be part of a Sangh which is blessed to host scholars and learned individuals every Paryushan. However, many families live far from a Sangh, or are part of a small Sangh which does not always have the resources to invite scholars. Such families and Sanghs might be wondering how they can facilitate Paryushan Aaradhana by themselves, in their homes or in small groups. You yourself might be interested in how to better celebrate Paryushan and/or explain its significance to your children and grandchildren in a way they will understand.

We are thrilled to invite you to join our upcoming 7-week course, Jain Alert PARAM, that will prepare you to facilitate Paryushan for your family and Shri Sangh. This course is designed by Alert Scholars who have been blessed and trained by Guru Bhagvant to share their knowledge and expertise with you.

Throughout the 7 weeks, you will gain a deep understanding of the principles of Paryushan and develop the skills needed to facilitate this important event for your loved ones and community. The course will cover topics such as the history and significance of Paryushan, the role of the facilitator, rituals and traditions, and how to create a meaningful and impactful experience for participants.

By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and confidence to lead your family and Shri Sangh through Paryushan and create a beautiful and transformative experience for all involved.

Please share this message with your friends and relatives who you think might benefit from such a course.

The course will begin on May 21st, 2023 and run for 7 consecutive weeks (ends on July 9th, 2023). We encourage you to register early as spaces are limited.

Registration link: https://jainalertusa.org/product/alart-param/
Registration cost: $50
Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
When: May 21st 2023 - July 9th, 2023 - 11 AM -12 PM EST

Please reach out to us at for more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
