Diksharthi Bahuman Invitation

Pranam!

We would like to invite the Sakal Shri Sangh of JSGD to a once-in-a-lifetime, historical event. Two youth, born in the US and who were part of our Sangh for almost 10 years, will be taking Diksha in India under Padmabhushan Acharya Bhagwant Shri RatnaSundar Surishwarji. This is the first time in the HISTORY of Jin Shasan that someone born and raised in the US will be taking Diksha, that too siblings FROM OUR SANGH. The Diksharthi siblings, Tanyaben and Karanbhai, children of Vinitbhai and Leenaben Shah, will be coming to our Sangh end of October and to celebrate their Uttam Bhaav and this momentous milestone, we will be holding a Bahuman Ceremony. We hope you all can make it, you will not want to miss even one minute of it.

The schedule with important notes are below:

Date: Sunday, October 29th, 2023
Varshidan Procession: 9:30am

We would like our Pathshala students to participate. If you want your child to participate in the procession, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/1wX9QhTx4KPjud9H9
Shravikas please bring Kumbh to carry on your head. Those who bring them will get to do Pradakshina of the Mumukshus.
Varshidan will only be given during the procession. You must be present to receive the varshidan.

Diksharthi Bahuman: 11:00am

There will be 3 bolis during the Bahuman. Two families can jointly take each boli.
a) Prakshal of Mumukshu's feet and taking their kumkum pagla (family will get to take home the pagla)
b) Vijay Tilak of each Mumukshu
c) Giving Mala and Shrifal to Mumukshu

Diksharthi Speeches: 12:30am
This is a must attend event, especially for youth. They will be in English, so please make sure your kids attend!

Important Temple Announcement

Dear Members,

Jai Jinendra,

Starting Monday, October 30th following renovation/repair activities will be taking place at the temple.

(1) Removal of dead trees and trees that are very close to temple building as well as replacing them per site plan approved by the city of Farmington hills.
(2) Repair/Renovation/Upgrade and cleaning of Shikhar, Bricks, Cement walk ways and EIFS on perimeter of the temple.
(3) Kitchen renovation and clean up.

To facilitate contractors in their trades one of the drive way (either east or west side) will be closed, so we request members to carefully use exit/entry thru open side only.

Also, We request members not to approach contractors or Pujari Deepakbhai / Kiranben with any inquiry or suggestion. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact one of the following member involved with the project. Please take extra precautions as there may be construction equipment's and material lying around at the temple entrances.

2023 - Jiv Daya Update

Pranam,
On behalf of Jiv Daya committee we would like to thank you for your generous contributions this year during 25th anniversary and Paryushan. With your support we are able to collect more than $ 42,000. These contributions will make a remarkable difference and will provide invaluable services to mute, sick, aged, helpless animals and birds in rural areas of India and here in the USA.

Currently we have funds for this cause and would like to disperse it to needy Panjarapoles in India and animal centers in North America. We also would like to sponsors few small permanent projects at panjarapoles along with regular funds for providing grass for animals.
