Jain Vishwa Bharti, London is actively spreading the message of Jainism and Preksha Meditation – not only in London but all over the United Kingdom.
An inter-faith conference for 3 days was held in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 24th - 26th May in which around 50 delegates from different religions were present. Samani Prasanna Pragya and Samani Manan Pragya from Jain Vishwa Bharti London were also invited in this conference to deliver their speech on “Sacred Divine Feminine In Jain Tradition” as well as to hold one of the workshops.
Samani Prasanna Pragya threw lights on the benefits of chanting Holy and Sacred Mantra in her workshop. The delegates felt that the selected mantras were very effective. After chanting the Holy and Sacred Mantra, their curiosity to know more about them had soared to a very great extent.
Samani Manan Pragya gave her talk on the given topic “Sacred Divine Feminine in Jain Tradition.“ Through this talk, people came to know many things regarding Jainism and the broad horizon and perspective of Jainism.
Apart from the talk, the presence of Samanji’s in the conference was notable as they were the only representatives from Jainism as a whole. They were representing the way in which Jainism is being lived and practised by all Jains across the world.
Earlier some people thought that Jainism might be the branch of Hinduism or Buddhism and some people even had a belief that this was one of the religions, which were in the past, and now has become the extinct.
But the presence along with the suave presentation by Samaniji dissolved their past beliefs and they came to know that Jainism is still alive. Moreover they came to know that Jainism is the way of life of non-violence and spiritual piety of the soul, which is being practised by millions of Jains throughout the world.
Hence, their presence was not only helpful in spreading Jainism but also to change the image of Jainism in the eyes of the external entities.
