Swami Dharmandji & Nirmalaji reached Dubai on 6th June afternoon. Several persons went to the airport to receive them. They were pleased to be back in Dubai on their third visit. |

First programme of the visit took place at Mr Anjay Mohnot's residence at 8:30 pm. Evening started by collective chanting of hymn "Bane Arham, Bane Arham." R K Bengani (l) welcomed Swami Dharmanandji (r) and Nirmalaji (m) on behalf of the sangh and introduced Swami Dharmanandji and Nirmalaji to the audience. R K Bengani also read out a message very kindly sent by His Holiness Acharyashri Mahaprajnaji to his followers in Dubai. The audience bowed to Acharyashri as expression of gratitude for such kind and graceful and unexpected gesture. |
Swami Dharmanandji spoke about his learning and practical experiences of various styles of meditations and said that in his opinion, belief and experiment, Preksha Meditation is the best approach a lay person should follow for self realisation. Swamiji gave the historical details as to how Ganadhipati Tulsi asked Acharyashri Mahaprajanji to research, document and present the methods, styles, elements and practices of meditations prescribed in Jain Agamas and how Acharyashri Mahaprajanji then spent several long years (including long periods in seclusions/introspections) in researching the subject and how the concept of Preksha Meditation was presented to the public at large.
Swamiji then exerted the importance of proper breathing and explained the difference between Prana (vital energy) and Prana Vayu (inhaled air).
After clarifying some technical points, Dharmanandji guided the group thru a meditation practice of appx 30 minutes.
