Ahimsa Yatra : Siriyari : Mass Diksha Ceremony Of Terapanth Sect

A large gathering numbering more than a lakh followers of Terapanth order of Jain Swetambar sect witnessed a grand diksha ceremony at Siriyari Village on the 4th November, 2004 in the holy presence of Acharya Mahaprajna, Yuvacharya Mahashraman and other Saints and Sadhvis.

Twenty aspirants were accepted to Terapanth Jain order through diksha on that day,

  • 7 of whom were converted from Saman-Samani to Sadhu- Sadhvi
  • 2 from Mumukshu (Sravak - Sravika) to Sadhu-Sadhvi and
  • 11 from Mumukshu to Saman-Samani category.

B. Mumukshu to Sadhu

C. Mumukshu to Samani

1. Mumukshu Chitra, Lunkaransar
2. Mumukshu Samta, Lunkaransar
3. Mumukshu Madhu, Asotara
