Special Message of Acharya Mahapragya on the occasion of Mahavira Jayanti (Birthday of Mahavira)
Mahavira’s life & Philosophy has being automatically turned out into the philosophy required to sustain in the current world’s scenario. Democracy is the live experiment of Mahavira’s non-absolutism & coexistence principle. Efforts for saving environment are the practical implication of non-violence preached by him. Transformation of vision over casteism is the reflection of his religious revolution. Vege Movement is the beautiful expression of his non-violent life style.
I have written a book “Mahavir ka Punarjanm” (Rebirth of Mahavira) focusing on these & other similar application of his vision in today’s environment. The question of rebirth is very astonishing from the theoretical aspect but in practical, it is very significant.
On the occasion of Mahavira’s birthday, we must try to understand his philosophy, aim to adopt his life style of self constraint, non-absolutism etc. in our daily routine. If we will put our complete efforts in understanding him holistically & then adopting his way of non-violent life style, then only the purpose of remembering and celebrating his birthday will be served.
