‘The Happy & Harmonious Family’, an important work by Lok Maharshi and a great philosophical saint of international fame H.H.Acharyashri Mahapragya was released to the public at large in a gorgeously celebrated function organized by Shri Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata in reverend auspices of Sadhvi Kanak Shri ji, a learned disciple of Acharya Mahapragyaji. “Pragya Samavsaran” in Mahasabha Bhawan, Kolkata was the place of release of the book by renowned learned laureate Dr. Mangal Tripathi.
Dr. Krishna Bihari Mishra in service of literature adorned his presence as the chief guest. The programme was presided by Sri Chainroop Chindalia, the Chief Trustee of Mahasabha
The programme started with Shrut Vandana, the welcome recitation presented by Sadhvi Madhulata ji. While describing the work published by Harper Collins Publishers India, an internationally renowned publishing house and the original literatures by Acharyashri Mahapragya, the learned Sadhvi Kanak Shri ji said that Acharyashri Mahapragya is a great philosophical saint. He is a serious thinker and clear deliberator of Ahimsa and World Peace. He is a visionary saint, and an able handed resolver to the humanitarian problems. He has given solution to the human problems of this century by creating over 250 original works of literature. He has shown the right path to the young generation of the world. Sadhvi Shri said - "The serious problems of the day are - breaching families, scattering, confrontations & terse social climate. Through the book the author has presented a study of the root causes of the fights followed by the ways to make the families happy and hearty; ways to grow peaceful co-existence; ways to contain conflicting views; and has extended all these angles of insight and has given away thought mongering formulae. The book is worthy not only in the Indian context, but stands true to global solutions".
Dr. Mangal Tripathi, released the book and presented the copy to Sadhvi Kanak Shri ji. In his wise address he felt the book should reach the world at large, being the need of the day and Said he would be more happy to see it being published and released through U.N.O. initiative. Comparing thoughts of Acharya Shri Mahapragya with the thoughts of ‘Mahaprabhu Chaitanya’ quoting excerpts from the book, he said - “philosophy of these Maharshis (great saints) mingles a music and its beat to the humanity”.
Dr. Krishna Behari Mishra, the chief guest said- “ the founding stone of our culture is family. Today the institution of family is facing a great problem. Under such circumstances the thoughts and the original literature of Acharyav Mahapragya is a ray of light to us all. His aroused wisdom and spiritual parts are continuously active for the good of humanity ”.
Sadhvi Madhulata ji spoke about the need of the teachings of Acharya Mahapragya for the present day families.
Smt. Alka Sankhala from Surat, the wordly sister-in-law of Sadhvi Kanak Shri ji also expressed her views and on behalf of all the lay followers present, wished Sadhvi Madhulata ji, a successful spiritual journey on her 21st Diksha Diwas (day of initiation of Sainthood)
With his presidential speech Sri Chainroop Chindalia did welcome the learned and the guests who all were present on the occasion.
Shree Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata honored the learned with literature as pleasantries. The programme was ably anchored by Sri Bhanwarlal Singhi.
