Benefits of Preksha Dhyan

Preksha may appear to mean different things to different people, because it contributes to increase physical, nervous as well as spiritul energies.

On mental level, it proves to be an applied method to train the mind; it offers a way to treat serious psychosomatic illness without drugs; it is an efficient tool for overcoming addictions and other bad habits; it reveals to one the mysteries of mind through realization and the real experience of the inner consciousness which includes the sub-conscious and the unconscious.

Physical Benefits

Practice of Preksha Dhyan will bring about changes in the chemistry of the body. When the mood and emotion-producting. hormones from the adrenals are properly regulated and harmonized by those of pituitary, the equilibrium of the body-chemistry is more balanced. If the practice of meditation does not bring about desired equilibrium, then it must be concluded that the technique is not properly followed.

Mental Benefits

Next to the chemical equilibrium is the mental equilibrium. Normally, any condition of stress or excitement upsets the mental balance. Mental equilibrium will become more and more balanced with meditational practice. This is an important benefit derived from the practice of Preksha Dhyan.
