We are very happy to report that with the blessings of Acharyashri and under the auspicious guidance of Samani Sanmati Pragyaji and Samani Shukla Pragyaji, JVB NJ’s maiden participation in New Jersey India Day Parade2010, to propagate the message of “Peace through Non-Violence,” was very well received by thousands in the audience and was deemed a grand success.The JVB NJ team led by respected Samanijis and comprising more than 130 enthusiastic walkers adorned in white JVB t-shirts - children, teens, women and men alike - was one of the largest groups to walk in the parade.
The India Day Parade, which was a showcase of Indian culture with about 40 different organizations participating, was organized by the Indian Business Association of New Jersey and was held on Sunday August 8, at Oak Tree Road in Edison & Iselin, NJ. The event was widely covered by the news media and was telecast live on TV Asia.
